Designing with Purpose: Sustainability at the Core

At B-TRAY, we believe that style and sustainability go hand in hand. That’s why we design sustainable hotel products that combine high quality with a lower environmental impact. From hotel room products to bathroom accessories, we continuously look for ways to reduce waste and use responsible materials. We prioritise recycled and recyclable components, minimise packaging, and choose long-lasting finishes that support a more conscious hospitality industry.

Reforestation Through Every Purchase

To support global reforestation, we partner with WeForest, a non-profit organisation focused on restoring ecosystems. For every five wooden hospitality trays or three luggage racks sold, B-TRAY plants a tree in Zambia or India. This initiative helps combat climate change, protect biodiversity and support local communities. As a result, our products contribute to a greener planet — one hotel room at a time.

Responsible Recycling with WeCycle

In addition to reforestation, we collaborate with WeCycle, a Dutch recycling network that processes waste electrical equipment into reusable raw materials. This ensures that used kettles, hairdryers and other electrical items are responsibly recycled. By doing so, we reduce landfill waste and promote circularity within the hospitality sector.

Continuous Improvement for a Greener Future

We’re always looking for new ways to improve. Whether it’s switching to water-based adhesives, reducing transport emissions or offering modular designs, we aim to make sustainability part of every decision. Our goal is to help hotels create elegant guest experiences with products that respect the environment.
